ECSIP SUPPORT STAFF

Jummai Umar coordinates the East Central Saskatchewan Immigration Partnership (ECSIP), which operates in Yorkton and serves the East Central Saskatchewan region.

Jummai Umar holds a master’s degree in Information Technology and a degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering. She joined the ECSIP team in January 2023, bringing with her over 10 years of experience in the employment sector. Jummai is passionate about settlement and retention of newcomers in the East Central Saskatchewan region. Her dedication to supporting newcomers contributes significantly to creating a more inclusive and welcoming community in the area.
